Rainbow TARDIS - Road Trip Project

What do you do on a long road trip when you're a passenger?  I decided to take up cross stitching which I haven't done in a very, very long time.  I tried taking a photo each day of my progress but I did miss one day during our travels.  This took me a total of 41 days to complete.  Now I just need to decide what I'm going to do with it! Pattern is by Alice Alan and purchased at AICrossStitch on Etsy. 14 count Aida cloth using DMC floss 21,861 stitches

Bad Batch - Omega

We aren't done with The Bad Batch yet!!! Thanks to Susie for testing Omega.  Your fabric choices are amazing and really bring her to life. Finished size: 12" x 12" Difficulty: 2.5 Pattern Photo and testing by Susie K. This pattern is free for personal and non-profit use only. Not to be used for manufacture or distribution. Sale of this pattern or quilts made from this pattern is prohibited. For my other Bad Batch and Star Wars patterns check out the page dedicated to all things Star Wars / Bad Batch .

Labyrinth - Sarah

Sarah is a girl after my own heart and Labyrinth is one of my all time favorite movies! So when I found the Labyrinth quilt patterns on FandomInStitches I knew I needed it in my life!!!! Sadly the Sarah pattern seemed to be missing, so I designed my own.  Love how she turned out and so happy I had perfect fabric for her vest. There are a few other blocks from the original quilt-a-long that are missing that I may try to recreate as well.  But before I do that I need to keep working on my 2022 goal of completing and testing the designs I already have created. Finished block size: 9" Difficulty: 3 (because the eyes are so tiny) Click here for the pattern This pattern is free for personal and non-profit use only. Not to be used for manufacture or distribution. Sale of this pattern or quilts made from this pattern is prohibited.

My Boy Tucker

My sweet boy passed away in November 2018. We couldn't have asked for a better companion and protector for our daughter. We all miss him every day. This year for my husband's birthday I designed and created this wall hanging of Tucker.  He loves it and I hope you do too. Originally I hadn't intended to share the pattern but I have had inquiries so here it is. I would love to see pictures of Tuck in your home :)  Block size: 24 x 24 Difficulty: 2 Click here for the pattern This pattern is free for personal and non-profit use only. Owl House baby steps

Progress has been made this weekend!! Look at Miss Pepper back there, such a good girl! So to achieve this layout I cut the sashing strips 1 1/2".  For the Title block I needed to add to either end to make up for the additional inch in between the blocks above and below it.  Also for Owlbert and Ghost I cut them each down to 5 1/2" (including seam allowance).  I actually like them better without all the extra fabric around them. Now to figure out the backing. To piece or not to piece that is the question!

Temporary Radio Silence

Sadly other responsibilities are taking over my me time.  It's all good because I love my Girl Scouts!! For us it's cookie season until mid March.  While I have been able to sneak in some sewing time on Saturday and Sunday mornings that's about it.  Between working full time, being troop leader and managing cookies I'm exhausted.  So bear with me, I have great things planned......for after cookie season. Wish us luck!! This is what 822 cases of Girl Scout cookies looks like!!! Oh My Goodness!!!
