Rainbow TARDIS - Road Trip Project

What do you do on a long road trip when you're a passenger?  I decided to take up cross stitching which I haven't done in a very, very long time.  I tried taking a photo each day of my progress but I did miss one day during our travels.  This took me a total of 41 days to complete.  Now I just need to decide what I'm going to do with it! Pattern is by Alice Alan and purchased at AICrossStitch on Etsy. 14 count Aida cloth using DMC floss 21,861 stitches

Hoppy Easter!

Hoppy Easter (cheesy I know!) Finished in time for Easter. Peeps have been a tradition in our family every Easter so when I found this Peeps Bunny pattern I had to make them. Added button tails and they are just so adorable!! I did add a zipper to it and made a plain white pillow to stuff inside. Since it's the perfect size for on the rocking chair now I can make other covers and switch them out seasonally. Pattern is by Jen Ofenstein of SewHooked.com and is available at https://sewhooked.com/2017/03/03/free-pattern-friday-peeps-bunnies/

Don't Blink!

I can't do a Doctor Who themed quilt and not represent one of my all time favorite episodes, Blink!!  Love the Weeping Angels! So to go with my Silence in the Library quilt I have for you the Weeping Angel bookshelf block. Enjoy and don't blink!! She does have a lot of embroidered details. You don't have to go as detailed as I did if you don't like embroidery. You could just do the hands and arms and I think that would still be awesome! Block size: 10 x 10 Difficulty: 3 Pattern UPDATE: I added a new version with DVDs instead of the book. Here is a link to the page for the updated version  Weeping Angel version 2 This pattern is free for personal and non-profit use only. Not to be used for manufacture or distribution. Sale of this pattern or quilts made from this pattern is prohibited.
