Black Clover Halloween

This week was all about Halloween and Trick or Treat. This is the newest member of the Black Bulls. We both absolutely love how this turned out! Next week we should get back on track with new pattern releases.

For the cape I used the Simplicity 5840 pattern A. I just used the caplet and hood. I did cut the cape about 4" larger around the edge and added a small, long triangular piece to one of the top edges so I could offset the opening to match the way the Black Bulls wear it and there was plenty of room to go over her head.

Almost done! Just needs the button and Black Bulls insignia

Insignia added. My Cricut cut off the outer border for the larger bull and I didn't have enough of the antique gold to do another. So we just went with it this way.

Adventures In Raw Edge Applique

So I tried something new, raw edge applique. In hindsight I should have started with a more simple pattern. But I loved this pattern and knew my daughter would absolutely love it.
